Bret Meadows purchased Mears Automotive in May 2006. The business
has three additional automotive technicians; Frank Simmons, John Smith
and Nick Smith. Frank and John worked for Mears Automotive for years
before the ownership change and continue to offer their expertise in the
repair and maintenance of customer vehicles. Nick is a graduate of the
Lake Land College Automotive Technology program. Scot Moran helps
out part-time doing several jobs, including service advice. Brandon
Westfall our full time service advisor is ASE certified and a graduate of
Lake Land College. vehicl We intend to carry out the "Mears" tradition
of the highest quality repairs in the area, while extending to our
customers the added benefit of personal and exceptional customer
service, all at a reasonable cost.
Bret Meadows, owner, has been involved in the automotive industry for
more than 35 years. He is ASE master certified and factory trained. Bret
has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Lake Land
College and also attended Northwood University.
Nelle Meadows, office manager, has been a bookkeeper and secretary,
including many years as a legal secretary.
John Smith, automotive technician, has more than 30 years experience
as an automotive and truck technician. He has ASE certification and
specializes in driveability and electrical concerns.
Frank Simmons, automotive technician, has over 25 years experience in
automotive repair, Frank is a Master ASE Technician.
Nick Smith is a graduate of Lake Land College with an Associate of
Applied Science degree in automotive technology. He is our front end
and alignment specialist and has been with Mears Automotive since
Brandon Westfall is an ASE certified technician. As our full time service
advisor he is able to make sure all work is completed to our customers
Scot Moran began in May 2012 working part time as a service advisor.
Scot is very helpful and can assist with scheduling for all your
